Michael Mandelbaum is a Johns Hopkins foreign policy specialist and bestselling author. Mandelbaum is the author or co-author of 16 books, including his latest book, 2016's Mission Failure: America and the World in the Post-Cold War Era. Herter Professor Emeritus of American Foreign Policy at The Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies.
